ATU Local 569 is proud to welcome you to the city of Edmonton for the ATU Canada Conference.

Known for its rich labour history and resilient spirit, Edmonton has long been a centre for progressive action — and the story of public transit here is deeply tied to the story of our union. For more than a century, Local 569 has been fighting for the rights and dignity of transit workers across this city and the Region. Our victories are not ours alone — they are part of the broader movement built by dedicated unionists like you, in cities and locals across the country.

Our history has been built by workers who refused to settle for less, who organized for better, and who made solidarity a daily practice. Because of their work — and yours — we are here today, stronger than ever as One ATU.

We are also thrilled to be co-hosting Hospitality Nights alongside our sisters and brothers from ATU 583 Calgary, taking place Tuesday and Wednesday evenings in our union meeting hall. It’s a 20 minute walk from the Fairmont Hotel, but shuttle buses will get you there and back safely. We hope you’ll join us — check the Conference App Agenda for details.
