Kassia Bonisteel is a partner at UPFH. She first joined the firm as an articling student after completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and Her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Ottawa.

Kassia has represented trade unions and the ATU in particular in all manner of legal matters: collective bargaining, arbitration, labour board, and human rights to name a few. Most recently, Kassia was co-counsel in cases against Metrolinx and the TTC which changed the legal landscape on the issue of drug and alcohol testing.

Kassia is undoubtedly a leading, if not the leading, labour lawyer when it comes to the science (or lack of science) behind drug testing.
